Established in 1972 within the Department of Electrical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, with its foundations laid in Gümüşsuyu and continuing its activities at the Ayazağa Campus since 1995, the Power Electronics Laboratory is a pioneering center where theoretical knowledge is transformed into practical application, backed by more than half a century of experience. Our laboratory provides infrastructure for a broad academic spectrum ranging from fundamental undergraduate experiments and design projects to advanced research at the master’s and doctoral levels. Hosting numerous TÜBİTAK and ITU BAP projects, our unit contributes significantly to scientific production while also playing a key role in university–industry integration through testing and analysis activities carried out in collaboration with industry partners.
